Located in central London, Gray’s Inn Gardens, known as The Walks, offer a rare five-acre private garden setting for outdoor events.
Laid out in 1608 by Sir Francis Bacon, the gardens retain a strong sense of history, with established lawns and tree-lined paths which offer a peaceful atmosphere in the heart of the city.
Summer Parties
During the summer months, The Walks become a dedicated outdoor events space, centred around our contemporary marquee.
The marquee includes air-cooling, a dancefloor, restrooms, an integrated feature bar and a newly extended terrace with a second bar to improve event flow. Together, these elements create a comfortable and well-equipped setting for summer parties, corporate events, garden parties and receptions.
The space is also highly flexible and available for dry hire, allowing the interior to be fully customised for events such as product launches.
Weddings
The gardens are licensed for weddings, offering a romantic setting for outdoor ceremonies during the warmer months.
In June and July, you can elevate your garden wedding celebration by hosting your wedding reception in the marquee. The interior of the marquee can be tailored with lighting, florals and décor, and we work with a range of trusted suppliers to support bespoke event design.
The gardens also provide an ideal setting for arrival drinks and photography.
Outside the Summer Season
Beyond the summer months, The Walks remain available as a backdrop to events held within the main venue.
The gardens are particularly well suited to drinks receptions and photography, offering a calm and attractive outdoor space to complement indoor celebrations.
